BROOD VAN SOMA
In 1994, the family Rovers takes over SOMA, and new life is blown into the bakery. There are new innovations invented to improve the production process of the breads even more. In 2003 the bakery moved from Gronsveld to the current location in Echt.
Anno 2015 we have developed to absolute market leader in the Netherlands, when it comes to the raised, fixed baked rye bread. Our varieties of bread assortments are also to be found in Belgium, Germany, England, France and Italy!
The difference with the past? A wider assortment, but still with the familiar taste of SOMA.
What started as a passion for the bakery is now a successful brand. And still it is all about one thing: baking the best tasting bread with the purest ingredients.
